On behalf of myself and the Avanti Trust it is my pleasure to welcome you to our new school. It is a great privilege to be appointed Principal of Avanti Grange. Having worked and lived in the local area for many years, I am acutely aware of the need for a new secondary school in Bishop’s Stortford.

Travel & Expeditions
Avanti offers a large range of educational visits including retreats, expeditions and trips both nationally and internationally. Students have visited Bude, Cronwall, battlefields in Europe and skied in Austria. From year 10 onwards students have the opportunity to take part in Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
School Meals
An important part of our ethos is around the provision of hot, fresh, nutritious meals. Sharing tasty, healthy school lunches is an integral part of the educational experience at an Avanti school.

Yoga & Meditation
Avanti Grange emphasises the importance of mental and physical well-being. Regular yoga and meditation sessions are incorporated into our timetable, helping students cultivate mindfulness and physical fitness as foundational aspects of their lives.
